We all want floors that look good, isn’t that right? There is a wide range of different materials, but usually, the most beautiful ones are also the most expensive ones. There are however a few exceptions to that rule. For example, if you would like to have the look of hardwood floors in your home, but you don’t have the money to install the real thing, there is an option that costs less but still gives you the look that you want. It is called engineered flooring, and it is created by attaching a thin layer of hardwood onto high-quality plywood. Since this uses a lot less hardwood, the price is also a lot lower.
Engineered flooring is very difficult to tell apart from the real thing, and as an added bonus, you can use a wider range of methods for fastening it than you can with regular hardwood floors, which you can only nail or staple in place.
